As a member of the Advisory Council for TEAM USA, my role is to forge new and innovative pathways for funding that support our incredible athletes. We are taking a unique approach by engaging with small businesses and influential figures to create a strong community around our athletes, rather than relying solely on large one-time donations from major corporations.
Here’s how it works: We invite businesses to contribute donations ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. This contribution not only aids our athletes financially but also provides significant benefits to the donors. Each contribution is tax-deductible, and in return, donors receive a personalized thank-you video from the athlete they support. This gesture adds a personal touch, showing the direct impact of their support.
Additionally, donors gain visibility on the TEAM USA website, increasing their own brand exposure. They also receive promotional materials that they can share on social media, showcasing their commitment to supporting national athletes nd contributing to the spirit of excellence and competition that defines Team USA.
This approach is designed to foster community involvement and ensure that many businesses can participate in supporting our athletes, making it a true win-win scenario.
